Just as a heads-up: I saw that you mentioned Server 2008. I am not certain of the status of the issue and the patches in &#039;08 as opposed to &#039;03, so I would recommend just checking that out thoroughly before applying any hotfixes/patches.

Microsoft thought it was a kerberos problem and we reset the password between the two servers. I&#039;m gonna apply the patch. I&#039;m bookmarking this so I can enlighten others... Thanks!</description>

We&#039;ve been attributing the problem to NIC failures, although I&#039;ve tried to contact Broadcom (no help there), and our solution thus far has been to replace several motherboards.  Could you tell me if you&#039;ve seen similar problems?</description>
